Technical Deep-Dive
Here’s the heart of it. The lamp runs on 400V and hits 2500W, with a long tube built for wide-format work. That power is there to push strong current through the halogen filament, giving you the intense, focused UV-A you need for fast curing. The length is the secret weapon, too—it covers the full width in one pass, so you don’t have to make multiple lamp passes and add more moving parts. Just keep one thing in mind: this is a high-density heat source. Your cooling needs to be up to the job.
Material & Design
We wrapped the lamp in a quartz envelope with a special coating that helps shape the spectrum and keeps output steady, even during long runs. The halogen cycle keeps the filament clean, which means consistent intensity and a longer life than you’d get from a standard UV lamp. The R7s connector gives you a direct, low-resistance connection that handles the current without creating hot spots. And because it’s designed as a drop-in replacement, it fits right into most existing fixtures. The whole build is tough enough to handle the thermal shock of switching on and off, day after day, on a busy shop floor.
